Top Seven Reasons To Enter the Ultimate Online Audition Contest

There are less than two weeks left in the Ultimate Online Audition Contest…so why haven’t you entered yet? We know you’ve been making excuses, so we wanted to take a minute to knock ‘em all down. Here are seven reasons you should bust out your camera, grab a script, and show us your best Legends of Beckinfield audition.

1. If you haven’t posted to the site yet, it’s a great starting point. The contest is a great way to warm up because you get a script and some direction. It’s a nice ice breaker before you start posting videos to the main site. Don’t let such an easy in pass you by!
2. If you haven’t posted in a while, it gives you an easy way to jump back into the story. “Hey, Beckinfield. Well, I just submitted my audition video to Dylan Marks. Here’s how it went…” There. That’s your next vlog.
3. You could win $10,000. Have you ever won $10,000 before? Neither have we, but we assume it feels pretty darn awesome. What’s that you say? You’ve already won $10,000 and you don’t feel compelled to do it again? Well…aren’t you fancy. But did you win $10,000 and a trip to Hollywood for you and a friend? Probably not, so we’ve got you there!
4. Once you take someone else to Hollywood with you, you don’t have to buy them any other gifts this year. Birthday, Valentine’s Day, Christmas…you’re set for a while!
5. Even if you don’t win the Grand Prize, you could still win $200. Things you could do with $200: pay off that speeding ticket you just got, buy a new phone, lose it all in Vegas, triple it in Vegas, finally buy curtains for your apartment so you stop inadvertently flashing your neighbors, buy a toupee, put it in the bank, turn it into 200 $1 bills and make it rain, or treat yourself to something really nice that you’ve been wanting. There are a lot of options.
6. Your video could be seen by Jonathan Frakes. We realize that might scare you a bit — like, “OMG, Jonathan Frakes is going to see my video?!?!? What if he thinks I’m no good??!” — but don’t be scared! He’s very excited to check out Beckinfield’s talent, so please…share yours!
7. It’s a great opportunity to play. There are six roles up for grabs and you can try out for all of them; that’s six opportunities to have some fun as you play against type and challenge yourself. All the Actors who have auditioned so far look like they are having an absolute blast in their videos. Don’t you want to be one of them? (Seriously, we want to be one of them and are cursing the laws that say we can’t.)

At the risk of tooting our own horn too loudly, we think this contest is really awesome, and we could probably list a lot more than seven reasons why you should enter. But we’ll stop now and just leave you with this: we sincerely hope to see your audition before the contest ends!
